Sharad Pawar on Saturday declared Supriya Sule and Praful Patel as working leaders of the Patriot Congress Party or NCP. Pawar made the declaration at the 25th commemoration of the party, established by him and Dad Sangma in 1999.
The declaration was made within the sight of Ajit Pawar, Sharad Pawar's nephew and a central participant in the NCP.
Pawar had last month proposed to leave the administration of the party which was trailed by intense criticisms from the party individuals as well as other political pioneers.
